Unsicht Bar

We ate at a dark restaurant last weekend :) It was fun!

Most of the waiters are visually impaired or blind.

We had a four course meal and i think it took about 2.5 hours.

It was pretty cool and funny because Matze had chocolate all over his face when we walked out into the light!

Yes, you eat in complete darkness! Guess its supposed to really help you to experience the taste of your food! MMmmmmm!

It's been almost a month. Guess you've given up on the blog thing. Here's some updates for your reading pleasure:
We closed on the house April 8th. It was grueling, but oh so worth it. From there things got even more harrowing. The ol' guy we bought the house from had no one to help him pack and load, so after an 11 hour day at work I drove up there to try and help. Got home late that night and went back up in the morning. Lots of progress was made and he gave us a call yesterday to say he was on his way to Kentucky. He'll be back this weekend to retrieve the last of his worldly possessions.
Monday I got the utilities switched over, the flooring ordered and looked at some mattresses. Today I bought the mattresses, found out the pods will be dropped off at 7:30am tomorrow and plan on getting the painting and cleaning done then.
It's so beautiful Jen...I can't wait for you to see it. Hope all is well with you. Think of you often. Love and hugs to you and Matthias, (if I spelled that wrong, I apologize in advance.)

So, I know you read my comment and you emailed me in response, (thank you,) but you didn't even post a mini blog?! Dude!

Dear Jen!!!!! Woa, today's Easter?!!? Time really flies!! Here in Shanghai, honestly we don't quite celebrate it, but still I hear about it from friends especially from expats around me. Well, I hope you'd have an awesome Easter Festival with Mr. M in Berlin! And really enjoy those cute Easter eggs no matter real ones or chocolate ones! Many many wishes and greetings from Pat!!
